Position Title: Senior Rigger

Location: Faridabad

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Management:
   • Supervise and oversee rigging activities at the worksite.
   • Ensure safety measures and protocols are followed at all times.
   • Coordinate with site engineers and other staff to ensure seamless operation.
   • Inspect equipment and rigging setups before work initiation to ensure compliance with safety standards.
2. Rigging Tasks:
   • Handle rigging operations for lifting and moving heavy materials, especially pipes with a diameter of 300mm.
   • Work at heights (up to 12 meters) safely and efficiently.
   • Use rigging equipment such as slings, hoists, and cranes for loading, unloading, and positioning materials.
   • Ensure all rigging equipment is in good working condition and report any defects immediately.
3. Safety Compliance:
   • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including fall protection, harnessing, and safe lifting techniques.
   • Identify potential safety hazards and take immediate corrective action.
   • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all crew members.
4. Team Coordination:
   • Lead a small team of riggers, providing training, guidance, and supervision.
   • Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and site managers to maintain workflow.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Maintain daily work logs and reports on rigging activities.
   • Document safety inspections and compliance with site standards.
   • Report any incidents or accidents immediately and assist in investigations.
6. Equipment Management:
   • Oversee proper storage, maintenance, and safe handling of rigging equipment.
   • Ensure that all equipment used is compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in rigging, with at least 2 years working at heights (12 meters or higher).
• Skills:
  • Expertise in handling pipe diameters of 300mm and other heavy lifting equipment.
  • Knowledge of various rigging equipment (slings, hoists, pulleys, cranes, etc.).
  • Ability to work safely at heights, with proper use of fall protection equipment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for team management.
  • Familiarity with site safety regulations and best practices.
• Certifications: Certification in Rigging or related safety training will be preferred.
